When you're young you live your life day to day having little to no worries, ideally of course. Once you've grown, you can look back and see how much the times have changed. This is most evident when you watch, listen to or read any media that you enjoyed in your childhood that is still producing new content. Not only are there differences that everyone can spot, but the subtle differences, the ones that you notice due to the personal way it seems to make the content feel both familiar and foreign at the same time.
Most of the things I enjoyed in my childhood have come to an end, aside from the limited few still generating new tales or songs, and I am okay with that because I like the way they concluded. I see the new shows kids today grow up with and think of how, in a few years, they will think the same of them as I do of the ones I grew up with, they're the best! There's nothing like watching the ultimate game of cat and mouse (always did like the episodes where they would walk into the sunset together, as friends), or watching the gang solve a mystery for the first time. Even seeing what kind of shenanigans the toddlers get into with Angelica mocking them every step of the way. The three Ed's, the little french girl, Bugs and the Toons, I could go on and on. They were spectacular to grow up with. When you're young there aren't any memories of the past. Nothing to compare to. You experience every day things for the first time and think the world of them. Once you've hit a certain age, things become less amazing and more mundane. It's up to you whether you want to continue to experience new things, the point of view may not be the same but making your life exciting, that's what it's all bout. If someone wrote a book about your life, would anyone read it?
