Today is a cold day. I haven't seen the sun in a couple of days and, if the weatherman is to be believed, I won't until the next weekend. I also have the flu and all the pleasures that go along with it.
But it's not all bad.
Business has somewhat picked up and the new Pokemon game came out (hah, yes I am a Pokemon fan). It's also that time of the year, the time when you wish you could feel the way you felt when you were younger. When Christmas was more than just a lot of spending and stress and the magic was still there.
It's funny because when I was younger my Christmas list was about a 1/4 mile long but now when people ask me what I want I have no clue how to respond. The knee-jerk response is gift card. From where? Hell if I know... As a mid-20s man who makes a decent living anything I want I just go out and buy myself and if I don't it's because it's too expensive so I don't feel right in asking other to get it for me. I like my independence, I dislike asking for financial help.
Well I think this is the end of my rant. Booked a cruise for next year, so I've got that going for me which is nice.
