1998 Mustang GT Restoration

This page is going to be dedicated to the restoration of my 1998 Ford Mustang GT. I will update with all the restoration and mods I put on my car. I will have before and after pictures.

Here are some before, nothing has been done except for the dash lights. I changed them to LED's to get the bright blue instead of the regular green glow. I changed them thinking it was the bulbs it needed but turns out it might be the fuses. I need to research it further.

Here is the dash, see the ones that don't light up?
Here it is in the dark
The blue light, in my opinion, is better than the green.

Here's the rest of the car on the outside.

As you can see, it's not the cleanest and there is a slight dent on the bumper. I don't have a picture of it but there is one for light missing (the passenger side) and the other doesn't come on.

As you can see in the above pictures one of the center caps is missing.

And the tire's not all that clean
The inside is OK, but could be better. Especially the switches on both doors:

Driver's side

By process of elimination you should know this is the passenger's side
On the driver's side it has the GT 4.6 symbol. On the other side it's missing, although it IS in the car, I just have to put it on.

Another big thing is the driver's side fender. There is a huge sent in it. That's number one on my list, get it fixed, I don't want to replace it if I can help it.

I am also going to replace the head lights. I will put up a picture of them just as a reference point.

Solid black is nice, but I think some racing stripes or some type of decal is in order. Well first things first, I have to make sure the engine is in good condition. Spark plugs and wires and an oil change is in called for. I topped off the fluids but the oil seems too black, going to have to change it.

I will post updates on it.
