Boredom
The first use of the word boredom in print was in 1852 by the great Charles Dickens. He gave that feeling we get from time to time when all of our surroundings no longer stimulate us a name. I don't know if it's because of what we have available to us today but I could see how someone over a hundred and fifty years ago could quickly grow bored with what is in their immediate surroundings.

Extremists
To believe in something with all your heart and soul is usually not considered a negative thing. Not unless you take it to extremes.
