FIFA Scandal
So as it turns out, to not very many people's surprise, top officials at FIFA have been arrested on charges of corruption, of which, include racketeering fraud and money laundering. Those at the top of the corrupt organization are finally being challenged.Yet, Sepp Blatter has just won re-election as the head of FIFA. Until his name is on an indictment he will just continue business as usual. But hopefully with the revelations of the ones that were arrested they might give the authorities a new weapon to or two to use against him. Time will tell.
One Wold Trade Center
The observatory at the One World Trade Center has officailly been opened. You are now able to go to the 100th floor of the WTC and view the city skyline from above 1,250 feet. The observatory takes up three floors, with the main part of it on the 100th. The 101st floor has restaurants and the floor above that has an event space.
Visitors can use the 'skypods' to zip up to the top in 60 seconds and watcha video called 'Voices' about the ones who built the One WTC. The best part? Tickets are only $32 for adults, $26 for children and $30 for seniors! A completely affordable experience! Had it been open when I went to NYC last week then I would have gone up without thinking twice.
Lamborghini Urus
A four door Ferrari and a Porsche SUV are now the norm, well Lamborghini is now catching up with an SUV of their own called the Urus. It will be available in 2018 to expand their clientele. Not much is known of the vehicle like specs or price range, though it is estimated to be in the 200,000 range.
Automobili Lamborghini is not new to the SUV market, in 1986 the Lamborghini LM002 was released. Dubbed the "Rambo Lambo" it was a spectacular failure in regards to emissions and fuel economy. It was the predecessor to the Hummer. Well, unless you could afford a Lamborghini before, I don't think there's much hope to own one of these high end SUVs.
